The Electrical Life of Louis Wain is the title of a new film to come out at the end of 2021, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the famous cat artist.
Louis Wain lived at 41 Brondesbury Road in 1910s, which makes him our local Willesden artist. The two cat mosaics, on the bridge opposite Willesden Green station and in Poplars Avenue reflect this connection.
In 2011 Brent Museum and Archives featured an exhibition of his art.
