From our neighbours at Camden, a talk by Dick Weindling for Community Association for West Hampstead on the local musical heritage is now available on YouTube

This tells the story of Decca Studios, where Skiffle began when Lonnie Donegan and Chris Barber recorded Rock Island Line, and where the Beatles auditioned unsuccessfully on New Years Day 1962. I also talk about Klooks Kleek, the jazz and blues club held next door at the Railway Hotel, where hundred of bands played between 1961 and 1970.
